Justice League Limited

Following up on a comment John made in an earlier post, it does seem that the Justice League movie has been ported to the Phantom Zone.

The Wonder Woman movie, put on the back burner to focus on the JLA flick, is still in limbo as well.

This is all well and good for me. I may not read Marvel's comics, but they sure as hell make better movies than DC does. In fact, they're only a Captain America movie away from being able to assemble the Avengers (and they'd probably be able to get most if not all of the stars involved).

DC Comics and Warner Bros. can do a lot better, and until they prove that they can handle their individual characters correctly when they put them on the big screen I'm okay with them letting the ensemble piece go.

Yeah...Batman Begins was horrible and Im sure The Dark Knight(TDK) will suck as well. Im kidding.

In the past(the 90's), DC has done a bad job with the characters, but with Batman Begins and Superman Returns I think they are headed in the right direction. Marvel is light years ahead for some reason though. I think TDK and the next Superman will be great. I think that will lead to Wonder Women, Flash, and Green Lantern movies as well. One step at a time. They just need to be patient with it.

The demise of JLA movie was a blessing. The actors they hired for the characters were, for the msot part, terrible choices. I think they did well with the choice of Common as GL, and Megan Gale as WW. But Supes, Bats, Aquaman, Flash were horrible.

Batman Begins was quite awesome and I have high hopes for TDK, but the Superman reboot was more miss than hit.

It should be noted that DC does TV better than Marvel, with three pretty good Superman TV shows, the Birds of Prey show, the old campy Batman show (which I love, personally) and a plethora of really decent cartoons such as Batman: the Animated Series and Justice League, etc. The new JLA: The New Frontier is really good, too.

Marvel has the Hulk and a couple of Spider-Man series for live action (I'm probably forgetting some) and its plethora of kinda middle-of-the-road cartoons.
