It's funny. I've started and stopped writing this comment several times now. I just can't seem to find the right words.

I know not everyone was a fan of his art but I was. As the old saying goes, "I may not know much about art but I know what I like". And I liked Michael Turners art. Seeing a cover of his almost always made me want to get the book and isn't that what a cover is suppose to do?

I didn't know that his cancer had come back. The last I had heard, after a long battle, the cancer had gone into remission. Seeing the news this morning hit me like a ton of bricks.

I don't want to sound like I'm writing platitudes but I'm reminded that life really is too short. Make the most of it. Live every day with exuberance. Cherish time spent with family and friends and don't waste your life doing things that make you unhappy. You deserve better. We all do.

Rest in peace Michael Turner.

Yeah...what Darth said. This is tragic news, and what a loss to the comic art community.

See ya 'round the way, Mike.
